Cancellation Protection
To ensure your stay in any property you choose through us is stress-free, our owners have all agreed to sign up to a new ‘COVID Cancellation Protection’ policy. We also now offer, as an option, ‘Booking Protect’. This is an indemnity policy to cover you for a wide range of other issues, similar to a traditional travel or events cancellation policy.
We have designed our COVID Cancellation Protection to complement the Booking Protect policy to give you one of the most comprehensive cancellation policies available.
COVID Cancellation Protection covers certain cancellation requests directly related to COVID-19 only. It does not cover anything else.
COVID Cancellation Protection is mandatory and applied to all bookings.
If you desire further protection against other factors that may affect your ability to travel, or the aspects of COVID not covered by our (COVID Cancellation Protection) policy, then there is the option to select Booking Protect in addition to COVID Cancellation Protection.
How we are keeping you safe
All our properties follow best practice guidelines on cleaning to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
Cleaning and Maintenance Teams
Social distancing is kept to at all times.
Anyone with symptoms will not work and alternative people will complete the cleaning / maintenance required.
Cleaning and Sanitising
Every room is fogged before your arrival.
Bedding, Linen and Laundry
All linen is washed at high temperatures in accordance with guidelines on this.
Time between arrivals
During school term-time, much of the week is empty between bookings, but this is reduced down to 6 hours during ‘back to back’ bookings. A thorough clean is carried out during those 6 hours.
Items for your sanitation
Hand sanitisers are provided in all our properties as standard.
Pools and other amenitites
There is currently no evidence that the COVID-19 virus can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Swimming pools are on constant automated bromine/chlorine dosing.
Some useful tips to make your stay safe and enjoyable?
Always carry a mask with you to protect others
Use the hand sanitisers on every entry and exit to the house
If you develop COVID-19 symptoms during your stay, return home immediately and apply for a test
